1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Imposter Royale — whether through the mobile app (iOS, Android) or the web client at imposterroyale.com — you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Imposter Royale is a multiplayer social deduction party game. One player hosts a game room via the mobile app (available as a paid purchase on the App Store and Google Play), and other players join via the web client or the app using a room code. The game involves word assignment, discussion, and voting to identify the imposter among players.

3. User Accounts

Web players join games via automatically generated guest session tokens — no account registration is required. Mobile app users may optionally sign in via Google or Apple to sync data across devices. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use Imposter Royale.

4. Your Content

User-generated content in Imposter Royale is limited to the display name you choose when joining a game. You are responsible for ensuring your display name does not contain offensive, inappropriate, or infringing content. We reserve the right to remove or modify display names that violate these terms.

5. Acceptable Use

When using Imposter Royale, you agree not to:

• Disrupt or interfere with the game service, servers, or networks connected to the service.
• Use automated tools, bots, scripts, or exploits to gain an unfair advantage or manipulate gameplay.
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other players through display names or in-game behavior.
• Impersonate other players, individuals, or entities in a misleading manner.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep Imposter Royale available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, server issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service interruptions.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Imposter Royale at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these terms or engage in behavior that is harmful to other players or the service. You may stop using the service at any time. Mobile app users can delete their account through the app settings.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Imposter Royale and MTS Digital Ventures SRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Imposter Royale shall be resolved in the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights granted by the laws of your country of residence.
